The gentle Sunday reset

A little attention on Sunday can make Monday feel less demanding.

A reset need not be a long list of chores. Think of it as a short pause to put the essentials in place and notice what the next few days will ask of you.

Start with one surface

Clear the kitchen table or the top of your desk. One open surface makes a room feel easier to use, even if everything else waits.

Look at the week ahead

Check your calendar, choose a few meals that are easy to prepare, and write down the most important things. Leave space for plans to change.

End with rest

Put away the list, make a drink you enjoy, and do something that has no deadline. The purpose of a reset is to give you more room to live, not to fill every hour.
